Founded in 2022, Indy Black Brides is a hybrid community that creates connection and confidence for Black brides in Central Indiana by curating events and showcasing local minority-owned vendors and services as they plan their celebrations and a marriage to last a lifetime. 

Unlike national bridal sites, such as Zola, Wedding Wire, The Knot, etc., we’re able to highlight and promote our local Black brides and minority business community with higher frequency—all the time, which saves our brides countless hours trying to piece together what they need and who to get in contact with. Having this niche focus also allows us to host events that bring the local bridal sector together in an intimate way for more viable leads and partnership opportunities. We have a vested interest in seeing not only these Black brides thrive but the local economy succeed. The average wedding in Indiana costs $28,000 and we want to help circulate that among local businesses who reflect and celebrate us.
